We are in compliance with all Proboards rules and regulations first and foremost, and the rest is detailed, as per law by the Ministry of Magic, below for your viewing. Now that we've gotten the pleasantries out of the way, let's begin!

• Respect | Please treat all witches wizards, creatures, and then some, with the kindness, decency and respect. The staff takes pride on its ability to support our members and henceforth, we ask that everyone be treated with the same dignity and regard. Thank you kindly in advance!
• Rights & Property | Please do not steal someone else's work. This goes for plot creations, character development, site graphics and coding, individuals' own art and/or graphics, etc. Anyone caught stealing or not providing credit when something was created for them will be escorted back to Platform 9 3/4 and asked to spend the remainder of their days as a squib. 

        Well now that we've gotten the basics out of the way, let's get to the gist of it, shall we?

BE KIND

Everyone uses roleplay as a means of a escape and/or entertainment. Please don't ruin it for anyone and be respectful of everyone. Let's a kind, courteous, and fun environment for ourselves and others.

NO SITE ADVERTISING

There are designated sections of the site appropriate for advertising purposes. Please do not trying posting or sharing elsewhere. (This goes for privates messages as well). Anyone found violating this will be promoted back to forum guest.

CBOX ETIQUETTE

Please be respectful. No advertising permitted. Keep the conversation open for everyone to chat. If you want to post an image, LINK to it. Don't post it to display as an image in the chat. It can use up extra data for those who mobile view.

ROLEPLAY IN THIRD PERSON

All roleplaying here must be done in third person. No double posting in roleplay. No one liners. We do not have a site specific roleplay limit but please try to do a couple of sentences. Try to keep it close to 100 words, if possible. Rapid fire threads will be announced and moderated by site admin.

NO GODMODDING OR POWERPLAYING / BETTY & BILLY SUES

No godmodding (which is controlling other characters than your own). No powerplaying (which is when your character is all knowing/powerful or might know things that you read in a post that your character would have no reason to know). Please don't have a betty sue characters that has no flaws and is perfect. For one, everyone has flaws. Even Voldemort had them. But also, it makes it no fun for anyone else to roleplay with you if you're all perfect. 

TREAT ALL CHARACTERS AND PLOTS WITH RESPECT

Do not treat others' characters like stock or static characters only there to suit your plot and character development. Everyone has their own character and plots that they want, not just you. It's important that we respect everyone's own developmental choices and do not pressure anyone else.

We are in compliance with Proboards Terms and Conditions. Please keep all posts appropriate in subject matter, content and vebiage. Mild profanity is accepted, but please be responsible in your choices. If you are unsure of how a subject falls, please get with a site admin for further clarification.

CANON AND DISCLAIMER

The plot and its' canon is based on the Harry Potter universe, with aspects amended to fit site canon and plot. We do not use plot canon characters with the exception of Voldemort himself. This is everyone else's story of how the dark one transcended. The Harry Potter universe is the rights of JK Rowling. We're just enjoying her world!

NPCs & OOCs

NPCs are permitted. Please keep that canonic and are not utilizing one overly so. We have plenty of different members to roleplay with! OOC should not deviate from the appropriate section for that very reason. Additionally, character wise, make actions that make sense to your character.

CHARACTER COUNT

You may have a maximum of 6 characters. However, this comes with stipulations:

• Your first character may be anything you wish: 1st year through adult
• Your first student must be a fist year
• Second student may be any year (only permissible once)
• Each character must post at least 5x a month to be considered active for activity checks 
• For members with 3 or more characters, you must wait two weeks between character applications before creating a new one

WE PERMIT CREATURES

We allow creatures in the site universe. However, we don't want to overpopulate the site with any on particular type. The site may have a total of (4) werewolves, (4) vampires, (4) veelas, (2) metamorphagi, (5) animagus, (2) parseltongue - one being Voldemort himself. Only one creature per member, if limits apply.

HOUSE SORTING

Everyone is sorted into their house based on their character application and their sorting hat responses. You may pay for a house enrollment automatically just (1) time for a fee of 500 sickles, but every other character will need to go through the sorting process is it is

PB AND CELEBRITY CLAIM

Celebrity claims are first come, first serve. If you do not successfully complete an activation check, or are missing the posting requirements as stated above, your character will be waived of its titles and specifics, including pb claim, which will be permissible for anyone else to use. PBs for first year may be up until 15 years older than your character's age. This is for the reason that we understand not everyone's pb claim want is of a younger child as the characters age over time, so we want to allow this as a flexibility to our members.

GRAPHICS POLICY

Everyone's character limits may not exceed: 500x350px for signature and all avatars must be 200x300px. Playbys used for graphics must be of a real person - no cartoon, anime, etc. graphics are permitted. If you are in need of graphics, please utilize the appropriate board for requests. Our graphic makers get house points for their good deeds.

SCHOOL STAFF

Hogwarts professors are required to remain in their position and role for at least three school terms. Job changes are not to be permitted in that time in between. Please think of this as a requirement with your employment that you are signing the clause for. Lessons must be accurate. Please use age appropriate topics for your students, which will be sent to you upon acceptance of the position, and please remain active. Classes are a big part of our students' character development. 

GRADES & SCORING

For students, your student will be able to promote to the next year contingent upon your character attending their lessons regularly. The more participation, the better the score.
